Currently recruiting new volunteers to deliver meals around town, Hoback, Kelly area (North Route) and Wilson.
Help deliver lunches to home-bound seniors in and around Jackson. Meals on Wheels offers a friendly visit, a safety check, and a nutritious meal to seniors in our community. We currently need volunteers to deliver meals to seniors living around Jackson M-F, Hoback on Tues/Thurs, Kelly on Mon/Wed/Fri and Wilson Mon/Wed/Fri. Shifts begin at 11:30 am from the Senior Center and take approximately 1 – 2.5 hours. We ask that volunteers can commit to delivering 2-4 times per month. All deliveries are mostly contact -free deliveries. Masks are Mandatory.
*The Senior Center is updating its delivery protocol as needed to keep our clients, volunteers, and staff safe and healthy during this time.
