Earth Day Cleanup of Karns Meadow
Join us at Karns Meadow as we celebrate Earth Day by giving back to our community and our protected open space we and the wildlife call home! Our local park cleanup is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and friends to make a difference in the beauty of our local environment.
What to expect:
- Community Engagement: Meet fellow peers and make new connections with like-minded individuals.
- Hands On Action: Roll up your sleeves to clean up our local park. We might be picking up litter, but you are guaranteed to have a good time!
- Educational Opportunities: Ask questions and learn about environmental stewardship and sustainability practices from other volunteers and local organizations present at the event.
What to bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Comfortable clothing/layers, suitable shoes for outdoor work
- Gloves if you do not want to use latex gloves
- Positive attitude!
What we provide:
- Latex gloves
- Trash bags
- Snacks and beverages
- A liability waiver for you to sign
