Nature Mapping Certification Training

Become a certified Nature Mapper with JHWF! Nature Mapping Jackson Hole is a wildlife data program where trained volunteers collect valuable wildlife observations after completing certification in species identification and data collection. Every observation is reviewed by a wildlife biologist to ensure accuracy.

To date, volunteers have contributed more than 110,000 verified records, which are shared with partners including Wyoming Game and Fish, the National Park Service, and the U.S. Forest Service to support wildlife and land management decisions.

Join us in collecting wildlife data that supports conservation efforts—your observations help inform research and protect wildlife across the region.
