Gros Ventre Slide 100th Anniversary Volunteer Day
Join the Bridger-Teton National Forest USFS on National Trails Day for volunteer work in the morning and an afternoon celebration event to commemorate 100 years since the Gros Ventre landslide. We will rehab trails, signs, and pull weeds in the Gros Ventre Slide area from 9 am to 12 pm. Then join us for a lunch and speakers from 12 pm to 2:30 pm at the Gros Ventre Geological Site. Please join us for either or both events! Light refreshments will be included.
Times: 9 am -12 pm volunteer work morning; 12 pm - 2:30 pm 100th anniversary lunch/speakers

What to Bring: Volunteer morning: Participants should wear comfortable, loose-fitting pants and a long sleeve shirt, sturdy hiking boots, and work gloves. Please feel free to bring a shovel if convenient. Sun protection, water bottle, and any other items that will make you the most comfortable are recommended.
