Deliver Bear-resistant trash cans around Teton County

JH Bear Solutions is looking for dedicated volunteers to help deliver bear-resistant trash cans to residents across Teton County. This is a great opportunity to support your community, protect local wildlife, and make a meaningful impact on human-bear coexistence in our region.

Why It Matters:
As a program of Wyoming Wildlife Advocates, JH Bear Solutions provides subsidized bear-resistant trash cans to residents and businesses in Teton County and the Town of Jackson. Our goal is to remove barriers—financial or otherwise—and make it easier for everyone to safely store trash and comply with local bear-safety regulations.

How You Can Help:
We need volunteers to assist with the delivery of these bear-resistant cans to homes and businesses throughout the county. If you have your own truck, often times deliveries are only one or two at a time. When we have larger deliveries, we use the community truck offered by Garth and Christy Gillespie. Often times, we only need help one day a week at or a couple times a month at most. We’d love to have you on board!
