Community Grants aim to support a range of community needs and promote a culture of philanthropy.
Programs & Goals
Community Grants are comprised of 5 programs: Old Bill’s, Thrive Grants (formerly Competitive Grants), Youth Philanthropy, Micro Grants, and Professional Development Grants. Collectively, these programs aim to:
- Address a range of community needs by building capacity and facilitating impact
- Create broadly accessible funding opportunities
- Foster widespread and diverse community engagement in philanthropy (e.g. Old Bill’s Match incentive, grant application review by diverse volunteer review committees, including teens)
