Hole Food Rescue will launch its Sprout Summer Lunch Program Monday, June 14th. Through this initiative, HFR aims to eradicate childhood hunger in Teton County by serving free nutritious lunches throughout the summer. The HFR Sprout Mobile will visit three locations daily, June 14th through August 27th, from 10:30 to 2:30 pm. Dedicated HFR volunteers will also deliver lunches to local camps for children on One22’s Unified Summer Scholarship program. New this year, Hole Food Rescue will add Sprout Stands in three identified neighborhoods from 5:00-6:00 pm that will allow working families to pick up their children’s lunch the evening prior.

To fulfill this mission, HFR urgently needs help with several volunteer roles, including delivering lunches to camps, preparing lunches, and running the Sprout Stand distribution sites. This is also an excellent opportunity for groups/organizations/businesses looking to volunteer for the duration of the summer.
