The goal of this workshop is to help nonprofit leaders and staff apply AI immediately and safely in their daily work.
We will focus on:
- AI Basics & AI Safety: Understand what AI is (and isn’t), and how to use it responsibly
- Prompt Building Blocks: Learn to write prompts that save time and improve quality
- Three Core Use Cases: Use AI as an Assistant, Strategist, and Creator
- Human-Centered AI: Ensure outputs align with voice, mission, and values
- Real Work: Participants will walk away having actually gotten something done — a drafted email, an outline, or a grant idea
Format:
- A 2‑hour core presentation open to all attendees, 10am-12pm.
- An additional hour from 12 – 1pm, open to all attendees, for extended 1:1 help with participant projects (included with tuition, no extra charge)
- Are you working on a project with a team? Encourage your team members to enroll with you and receive real-time, real-task, customized assistance.
- Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
What to Bring: Please bring a laptop computer and prepare to make real-time, real-progress with customized AI coaching on the projects/tasks of your choice.

Patrick Kearney (PK) launched Eddyline in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with the goals of helping individuals and organizations achieve lasting change through personalized coaching, workshops + facilitation, and incredible off-site experiences. PK draws on over 20 years of experience in leadership development, wilderness expeditions, and classroom education to create programs that are customized, fun, impactful, and drive growth and change.
PK has spent more than 200 weeks on expeditions, is a senior faculty member with the National Outdoor Leadership School, has a master’s in Education from Harvard, and holds coaching certifications through Integral Coaching Canada, Hogan Assessments, and Design Your Life.
