Description Contact Nonprofit Directly

Interested in being one of the people to welcome our community members to the library and getting them started on having their taxes done for free?  The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is an IRS certified program supporting volunteers to process and prepare income taxes for those in need in our community, free of charge, and it is looking for volunteers to perform intake for those who show up at the library for tax preparation services.

Intake volunteers are part of a wonderful team of volunteers, working together to help the community in a truly significant way.

There is no tax preparation experience required.

There is minimal study at home.

There is one training session at Teton County Library on January 23. You can see the complete calendar for the program HERE.

Please fill out an application  HERE. Please return application to the library’s Front Desk for Maria Hayashida or send to volunteer@tclib.org.

Thank you!
