About Mari Allan Hanna
Mari Allan grew up in Texas and studied biology, education, and urban planning at the University of Texas. She has 20 years of experience in both classroom teaching and community outreach, with a focus on environment and sustainability. She and her family moved to Jackson in 2014.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Mari Allan worked in nonprofit outreach and programming for a number of local organizations, including Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling and Slow Food in the Tetons. She now enjoys getting to interact with so many nonprofits from her role on the CFJH Grants Team.
Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, alpine gardening, sourcing local food, and spending time with family in the mountains.
