Teton Behavioral Health Alliance Releases 2026 Behavioral Health Survey Findings
October 2, 2026
JACKSON, WY – The Teton Behavioral Health Alliance, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, has released an Executive Summary and accompanying findings from the 2026 Community Behavioral Health Survey and 2026 Provider Behavioral Health Survey. Together, the reports provide an updated picture of behavioral health, well-being, access to care, and provider capacity in Teton County.
The findings show meaningful progress since the previous survey cycle, including improvements in community well-being and access to care. At the same time, the data highlight ongoing challenges related to affordability, behavioral health disparities, workforce pressures, and gaps in crisis and intensive treatment services.
“Reliable data helps us understand where progress is happening, where challenges remain, and where our community should focus next,” said Kate Schelbe, Backbone Leader of the Teton Behavioral Health Alliance. “By making these findings widely available, we can build a shared understanding of community needs and work together toward solutions that have the greatest impact.”
The Alliance encourages community members, nonprofit organizations, behavioral health care providers, business leaders, elected officials, and funders to review the findings and become familiar with the updated behavioral health data. The information will help guide future planning, investments, and collaborative action throughout the county.
To share the findings and discuss their implications, the Alliance will host a free public Behavioral Health Community Town Hall on Tuesday, November 10, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Hansen Hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church. The Town Hall will highlight key findings from both surveys and provide an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to learn more about emerging needs, areas of progress, and priorities moving forward.
