Quality of Life Survey Underway
Teton Behavioral Health Alliance is sponsoring the survey to gauge quality of life, community engagement, and behavioral health needs
Individuals who live and/or work in Teton County, Wyoming are invited to share their voices by completing the Community Behavioral Health Needs Survey, now open online HERE through February 2, 2026.
“The survey results will help us understand how behavioral health needs are changing in our community,” said Kate Schelbe, Backbone Leader of the Teton Behavioral Health Alliance, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. “By gathering input from a wide range of community members, we can identify what’s working well and where additional support is needed.”
The confidential survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete and is available in English and Spanish. Questions focus on community connections, quality of life, and mental health and substance use needs.
To ensure a representative snapshot of the community, approximately 400 residents will also be randomly selected to complete the survey by phone. Both the online and phone surveys are available in English and Spanish.
“It’s vital that we hear from everyone, so the data truly reflects the experiences and needs of all who live and work here,” added Schelbe.
This year marks the third time the survey has been conducted, following previous efforts in 2020 and 2024. Repeating the survey helps local organizations track trends, guide resources, and strengthen services.
Once the data is analyzed, it will be incorporated into the Behavioral Health Dashboard and shared publicly and with local organizations to inform programs, partnerships, and community initiatives that support the well-being of all who live and work in Teton County.
The survey is administered by Professional Research Consultants (PRC) with generous funding from the Katz Amsterdam Foundation.
