Old Bill’s 2026 Celebrates Three Decades of Generosity and Community in Jackson Hole

July 302026

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole invites the community to celebrate the start of the Giving Season at the Old Bill’s Fun Run Giving Season Launch Party & Rubber Ducky Regatta on Friday, August 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Russ Garaman Park. Ducks will drop into Flat Creek at 10 a.m. and race to the finish line.

The event marks the beginning of the 30th annual Old Bill’s Fun Run, celebrating three decades of generosity and community support in Jackson Hole.

The sixth-annual Rubber Ducky Regatta will feature more than 200 rubber ducks, each representing a participating nonprofit, racing down Flat Creek with support from Teton County Search & Rescue’s Swiftwater Rescue Team. The nonprofits behind the winning ducks will receive grant prizes.

The Launch Party and Regatta are free and open to all. Costumes, nonprofit spirit, and community pride are highly encouraged. Neighborhood parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to bike, walk, or carpool. Free Old Bill’s t‑shirts will be available at the Community Foundation at 145 E. Snow King Avenue starting August 14, while supplies last.

This event marks the start of one of the most inspiring seasons in Jackson Hole,” said Laurie Andrews, president of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. For 30 years, Old Bill’s has brought our community together to support the nonprofits that work to make Jackson a thriving, connected place to live.”

Make your generosity go further this Giving Season. Visit oldbills.org, select your favorite nonprofits, choose your donation amount and make one tax-deductible gift to the Community Foundation for the total amount. Every contribution, big or small, counts toward a greater impact.

The Giving Season offers numerous ways for community members to get involved, including:

  • Attending Giving Season events
  • Donating to participating nonprofits
  • Volunteering before or during Run Day
  • Supporting and sharing your favorite nonprofit organizations
  • Registering for Run Day activities (registration is now open at oldbills.org)

Since 1997, Old Bill’s Fun Run has generated more than $306 million for local nonprofits. Through matching funds provided by Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill, CoChallengers, and Friends of the Match, every donation made during Giving Season has an even greater impact.

At 30, Old Bill’s is officially a millennial: old enough to have a legacy, young enough to believe it can still change the world, and somehow still bringing people together better than most group chats.

Run Day – Saturday, September 12

The Giving Season culminates with Run Day on Saturday, September 12, at 8:00 a.m. on the Jackson Elementary School fields on Willow Street. More than a fundraiser, Old Bill’s has become a shared community experience, bringing together longtime locals, new residents, families, and visitors alike. The celebration includes a 5K and 10K Run/Walk/Adaptive Race, the Diaper Derby, and a vibrant Nonprofit Village showcasing participating organizations, refreshments, music, and more.

The Giving Season ends on Friday, September 18 at 5 p.m. As Old Bill’s enters its fourth decade, its mission remains clear: to strengthen the organizations that care for this community and expand opportunities for everyone to be a part of that work.

About Old Bill’s FunRun

One of the most innovative and successful philanthropic initiatives in the country, Old Bill’s Fun Run began 30 years ago when a generous couple — fondly known as Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill — envisioned a collaborative fundraiser to support local nonprofits.

Since its inception, Old Bill’s has generated over $306 million for Teton County nonprofits. These funds support everything from feeding families and caring for the elderly to protecting wildlife and fostering arts and education.
