Old Bill's 2025 Kicks Off With a Splash
The 29th annual community-wide fundraiser, Old Bill’s Fun Run, kicks off its 2025 Giving Season on Friday, August 15 with a Launch Party and Rubber Ducky Regatta from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Russ Garaman Park.
During the fifth-annual Rubber Ducky Regatta, the Community Foundation will send 200+ rubber ducks — each representing an Old Bill’s nonprofit — racing down Flat Creek with support from Teton County Search & Rescue’s Swiftwater Rescue team. The luckiest ducks will win grant prizes for their nonprofits. This family-friendly kickoff event is free and open to the entire community. Costumes and nonprofit spirit are highly encouraged.
By donating through Old Bill’s during the Giving Season, the impact of each designated gift is amplified through partial matching grants funded by Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill, CoChallengers and Friends of the Match.
Each year, 1 in 3 Teton County households donate through Old Bill’s Fun Run. Donors are motivated by the spirit of generosity and a shared commitment to strengthening our community.
When the Giving Season opens, it’s easy to give! Visit oldbills.org, select your favorite nonprofits, choose your donation amount and make one tax-deductible gift to the Community Foundation for the total amount. Every gift, large or small, contributes to a powerful collective impact.
There are many ways to participate in the Giving Season — volunteering, cheering on your favorite nonprofit and attending an event are all ways to show support for the community.
The Old Bill’s Giving Season ends on Friday, September 12 at 5PM. In 2024, the event raised $23.4 million for Teton County nonprofits. Over 23,000 gifts were made by more than 4,000 donors. Since 1997, Old Bill’s has raised an incredible $280 million for local nonprofits.
Run Day – Saturday, September 6
On Saturday, September 6, Run Day returns to the Jackson Elementary School fields between Jean and Willow Streets. Participation is free, and registration is open now at oldbills.org. Parking downtown is limited, so biking or taking public transportation is encouraged.
New this year, a timed Adaptive 5K and 10K race will begin at 8:50 a.m. The 5K and 10K Fun Run/Walk begin at 9 a.m. sharp. The start line is on Willow Street, just north of Deloney. From 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., community members can enjoy the Nonprofit Village, which features 100+ informational and activity booths hosted by participating nonprofits, plus the beloved Diaper Derby, free refreshments, music and more.
Free Old Bill’s t‑shirts will be available on the Community Foundation’s front porch at 245 E Simpson Avenue starting August 15, while supplies last.
About Old Bill’s Fun Run
One of the most innovative and successful philanthropic initiatives in the country, Old Bill’s Fun Run began 29 years ago when a generous couple — fondly known as Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill — envisioned a collaborative fundraiser to support local nonprofits.
Since its inception, Old Bill’s has generated over $280 million for Teton County nonprofits. These funds support everything from feeding families and caring for the elderly to protecting wildlife and fostering arts and education.
Old Bill’s is proudly administered by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. To learn more, visit oldbills.org.
