Community Invited to Register for Old Bill’s Fun Run 2026

JACK­SON, Wyo. — On Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 12 at 8 a.m., the 30th annu­al Old Bill’s Fun Run will take place at the Jack­son Hole Ele­men­tary School Field on Wil­low Street. Since its incep­tion in 1997, Old Bil­l’s has raised an extra­or­di­nary $306 mil­lion for local non­prof­its, mak­ing phil­an­thropy a defin­ing com­mu­ni­ty tra­di­tion in Jack­son Hole.

This year, Old Bill’s will include a 5K run/​walk and 10K run/​walk, adap­tive race, and the high­ly com­pet­i­tive Dia­per Der­by. Win­ners in each race will receive prize mon­ey to donate to their favorite nonprofits. 

The com­mu­ni­ty is invit­ed to explore the Non­prof­it Vil­lage fea­tur­ing inter­ac­tive, fam­i­ly-friend­ly activ­i­ties host­ed by over 100 non­prof­its. The Old Bill’s Fun Run will begin and end on Wil­low Street, just north of the inter­sec­tion at Deloney Street. Down­load Run Route Map

Reg­is­tra­tion is free, and every­one is encour­aged to par­tic­i­pate. Reg­is­tra­tion remains open until race time for untimed par­tic­i­pants. For timed par­tic­i­pants, reg­is­tra­tion clos­es on Fri­day, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. Timed race divi­sions include: 

  • Women’s 5K
  • Men’s 5K
  • Girls’ 5K (14 and under) 
  • Boys’ 5K (14 and under) 
  • Women’s 10K
  • Men’s 10K

The top fin­ish­ers in each timed race divi­sion will receive prize mon­ey to donate to their favorite par­tic­i­pat­ing non­prof­its. Advanced reg­is­tra­tion is encour­aged. Click here to reg­is­ter.

Timed race par­tic­i­pants may pick up their race bibs at the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole (145 E. Snow King Ave., across from Phil Baux Park) from Sep­tem­ber 8 through Sep­tem­ber 11, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or on Race Day, Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 12, between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. near the start line. 

For the safe­ty of all par­tic­i­pants only walk­ers, run­ners, strollers and wheel­chairs are per­mit­ted on the course. Oth­er wheeled trans­porta­tion, includ­ing bicy­cles and skate­boards, is not allowed. Old Bill’s wel­comes dogs that are expe­ri­enced and com­fort­able in crowds. Please keep them on a short leash and pick up after them. No oth­er ani­mals are permitted.

8:25 a.m.

  • Col­or Guard ceremony 
  • Nation­al Anthem 

8:30 a.m. Old Bil­l’s Fun Run begins 

Races will start in the fol­low­ing order: 

  1. Timed Adap­tive Racers 
  2. Timed Adult Racers 
  3. Timed Youth Racers 
  4. Fun Run/​Walk Participants 

10:30 a.m. Dia­per Der­by (no reg­is­tra­tion required) 

12:00 p.m. Event concludes 

PARK­ING

Free park­ing is avail­able at the Home Ranch Wel­come Cen­ter, locat­ed at the inter­sec­tion of Cache Street and Gill Avenue, just two blocks north­west of the event site. 

Bike park­ing will be avail­able at the north side of the field near the main entrance to Jack­son Ele­men­tary School. 

FUN BEFORE THE RUN

Show your Giv­ing Sea­son spir­it by sport­ing Old Bill’s Fun Run swag. Offi­cial Old Bill’s mer­chan­dise will be avail­able at the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion (145 E. Snow King Ave., across from Phil Baux Park) from August 14 to Sep­tem­ber 11. Stop by to pick up your race gear and make your dona­tion before race day. This year’s selec­tion includes T‑shirts, hats, yard signs, stick­ers, post­cards, and infor­ma­tion­al brochures, avail­able while sup­plies last. 

Vol­un­teer Opportunities

Whether you have a few hours or mul­ti­ple days to give, vol­un­teer­ing is a mean­ing­ful way to make an impact this Giv­ing Sea­son. More than 300 vol­un­teers are need­ed to help make Old Bil­l’s Fun Run a suc­cess.
