About Janine Lloyd

Janine has been a full time Jackson resident since 2018. Prior to Jackson she lived in Boston, Dallas and San Antonio. One thing consistent to all these locations is an involvement and dedication to the community and education. She holds a B.S. in Science and Letters and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught math in private and public schools from 6th grade through Community College. This broad exposure gives her in-depth knowledge of the struggles students face at many stages of learning. Being an educator also widens one’s perspective of the community.

Through Janine’s experiences teaching at Central Wyoming College, she has a first-hand understanding of how each person’s life is affected by experiences and opportunities both at home and through the community. Being on the Competitive Grants Committee for the last few years (currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Education and Recreation Subcommittee) has widened her perspective even more. She is encouraged to see local programs work together to address the needs of the Jackson community and is honored to be a part of the shaping and planning of the future.

She and her husband, Dave, have been CoChallengers since 2019, supported the 2024 summer learning and food access programming needs, and generously provided temporary housing during the pass closure.
