Self-Awareness: The Secret Ingredient of Effective Leadership
February 15 at 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM$25.00
Led by Executive Coach Amy Fulwyler
Leading an organization or serving in a professional leadership role is challenging in many ways, but being aware of our own emotions provides an invaluable tool with which to tackle any obstacle. While leadership challenges and organizational problems vary, we can meet all of them more effectively by working to increase our self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore areas of their professional life where they feel “stuck” and gain tools to see things differently. Sometimes it’s all a matter of perspective – how can we begin seeing challenges as opportunities? How can we increase our self-awareness so that we are able to manage problems more skillfully? Participants are invited to come to the workshop with at least one topic from their work/leadership life about which they’d like to gain further clarity and insight. They should also bring a willingness to share, listen, and be vulnerable.
This workshop is tentatively planned to take place in person at the Community Foundation, pending favorable public health metrics. Registration limit: 12. Participants will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results from within 48 hours of the program start. Masks will be required.
