Teton Behavioral Health Alliance Releases 2026 Behavioral Health Survey Findings

JACK­SON, WY – The Teton Behav­ioral Health Alliance, an ini­tia­tive of the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole, has released an Exec­u­tive Sum­ma­ry and accom­pa­ny­ing find­ings from the 2026 Com­mu­ni­ty Behav­ioral Health Sur­vey and 2026 Provider Behav­ioral Health Sur­vey. Togeth­er, the reports pro­vide an updat­ed pic­ture of behav­ioral health, well-being, access to care, and provider capac­i­ty in Teton County.

The find­ings show mean­ing­ful progress since the pre­vi­ous sur­vey cycle, includ­ing improve­ments in com­mu­ni­ty well-being and access to care. At the same time, the data high­light ongo­ing chal­lenges relat­ed to afford­abil­i­ty, behav­ioral health dis­par­i­ties, work­force pres­sures, and gaps in cri­sis and inten­sive treat­ment services. 

“Reli­able data helps us under­stand where progress is hap­pen­ing, where chal­lenges remain, and where our com­mu­ni­ty should focus next,” said Kate Schelbe, Back­bone Leader of the Teton Behav­ioral Health Alliance. ​“By mak­ing these find­ings wide­ly avail­able, we can build a shared under­stand­ing of com­mu­ni­ty needs and work togeth­er toward solu­tions that have the great­est impact.” 

The Alliance encour­ages com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers, non­prof­it orga­ni­za­tions, behav­ioral health care providers, busi­ness lead­ers, elect­ed offi­cials, and fun­ders to review the find­ings and become famil­iar with the updat­ed behav­ioral health data. The infor­ma­tion will help guide future plan­ning, invest­ments, and col­lab­o­ra­tive action through­out the county. 

To share the find­ings and dis­cuss their impli­ca­tions, the Alliance will host a free pub­lic Behav­ioral Health Com­mu­ni­ty Town Hall on Tues­day, Novem­ber 10, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Hansen Hall at St. John’s Epis­co­pal Church. The Town Hall will high­light key find­ings from both sur­veys and pro­vide an oppor­tu­ni­ty for com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers and stake­hold­ers to learn more about emerg­ing needs, areas of progress, and pri­or­i­ties mov­ing forward.
