Boards have a role to play in ensuring their nonprofits have adequate resources to advance the mission, but what exactly is that role? What is the Board’s role as a group, and what is reasonable to expect from individual board members? And what do we mean by “fundraise?”

Similarly, Executive Directors have a role to play in ensuring the Board is prepared to participate in fundraising, support skill-building, and provide guidance on execution. But what specifically and reasonably should be expected of the Executive Director?

Join us for skill-building and discussion about how to create a culture of fundraising on your board, as well as a healthy and productive partnership between the Board and Executive Director that promotes sustainable fund development.
