In addition to working with donors to facilitate their giving, the Community Foundation provides critical assistance to local nonprofits. We offer technical assistance and sponsor workshops on sustainability, board development and grant writing. By stimulating dialogue on current and emerging issues, we help to identify the resources needed to address them. Our annual event, Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities, has enabled local nonprofits to raise over $45 million in the past 10 years, while our competitive grants impact critical needs based on the advice of a diverse group of community volunteers.
