Dancers’ Workshop
New York City Ballet Moves
10,000
Following last year’s highly successful visit of a group of twelve dancers, seven musicians and nine technical and staff members from the world renowned New York City Ballet, Dancers’ Workshop will again host them for a weeklong residency in Jackson. In addition to four performances, the residency will include master classes and free open rehearsals. Grant funds will help offset the cost of events in the Center Theater and keep performance ticket prices reasonable.

Grand Teton Music Festival, Inc.
TuneUp!
$15,000
With only two staff teachers to conduct over 400 students in bands and orchestra, teaching resources at Jackson Middle and High Schools are inadequate for preparing young musicians. Funds from this grant will enable Grand Teton Music Festival to provide additional teachers to conduct instrumental sectionals in support of schools’ large ensemble programs. This individual and small group instruction will provide opportunities to learn how to play instruments, to develop basic musicianship skills, and to learn repertoire and performance practice from musicians affiliated with the festival.
