Young Philanthropists
Youth Philanthropy Class
The Youth Philanthropy Class will provide students a unique opportunity to learn about philanthropy through a hands-on approach. Students will meet local donors and non-profit agencies, review funding proposals and make grants. Students will also participate in a Youth Philanthropists page on the Community Foundation’s website.
Classes are offered in eight monthly, two and a half hour sessions. Classes are open to high school students and middle school students. Classes are offered free of charge. Registration is strongly encouraged.

Schedule and Location
All classes are held at the Jackson Hole High School, in the Junior-Senior Lunch Room.
Classes are held the first Wednesday of the month October through May.
Classes are held from 2:30-5:15 pm

Funding
Funding for Youth Philanthropy grants comes from the Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Endowment. This endowment originated from and continues to grow through the generosity of donors, foundations and Old Bill’s Fun Run.
